Unique Designs is located in South Africa near the city of Durban. Unique Designs was born out of the need to supply complete solutions to customers who have great ideas, but are unable to implement the necessary techniques to manufacture and have a saleable product.

There is a huge capital investment cost in designing and developing your own products. This is where Unique Designs can help. We offer a full range of professional services and products to the electronic industry. We are able to help you with your design, from the concept stage, prototyping, schematic capture, to PCB (PWB) layout through to manufacture. We can supply full manufacturing support. This includes production flow diagrams, test jigs, production methodology and cost reduction techniques. All documentation can be done to ISO 9000 standards.

Many of our customers have had small designs that require a microprocessor. We have a very strong embedded design capability and are able you deliver the product that meet our customers requirements.

We have sub-contractors in the manufacturing industries who can do low volume through to high volume assembly, final test and shipping. We are linked to PCB suppliers and have a direct interface with them. We can supply sub-contracting services for your mechanical design work . We have sub-contractors who are able to do all your plastic injection moulding.

As time went on , our customers required machinery and special tools. So we responded by importing or manufacturing the tools and machinery.
